One of the longest running regional programs in the United States is set to get the 2015 season underway as the International Kart Federation Region 6 Northwest Gold Cup series has its sights on the Sumas International Motorsports Academy in Sumas, Washington on April 10-12. After a successful 2014 season, the program has additional sponsorship and more prizes for racers in a series aimed at promoting the sport of karting. Returning as the official tire sponsor of the Northwest Gold Cup, MG Tires will again support the series with contingency funds and tires for the member clubs and racers.

“The Northwest Gold Cup is about promoting and welcoming all drivers, shops and teams,” stated series coordinator Michael Schorn. “Over the years, the series has produced some of the top talent in the country, and that still continues today. MG Tires has been a great supporter of the Northwest Gold Cup with excellent service and support to the racers and kart shops in the area. The quality of the tire has allowed the racers to be competitive on sets with more than a complete weekend on them and continue to use at the club races. Our goal is to keep entry fees affordable for all racers and families.”
