It was an eventful day at the Mile Hi-Way Raceway in Tacoma.
The third round of the NitroRadish World Formula Pro Series was run in a heavy rain.
Polesitter Max Mulkey led from the start and he built up a 5 second before his engine quit at the halfway point of the race. Long time shifter driver Steve Perdue inherited the lead and drove to victory in his very first World Formula race. Doug Huggler drove his Top Kart to a 2nd place, with Myles Pederson coming home third.
Perdue took home $400 for his win.
In the money drawing 4th place finisher Bryan Green, Greg Wick, and Mike Schorn, each had thier tickets drawn for a $165 bucks.
Tomorrow is another day of racing, and it looks like another day of rain.
There have been three different winners in the first three races of the series, will tomorrow add a fourth, or will we see our first repeat winner of the season?
